Wins Top Prize Playing Fantasy Fortune Scratch-Off

Still in disbelief, Marion Watts came into Lottery Headquarters to claim her $100,000 Fantasy Fortune prize. While eating lunch at one of her favorite restaurants, she cashed in a $25 scratch-off win and decided to play another $10 scratch game. She found out later that evening that she was a big winner. “I didn’t believe it even after seeing it! I had my husband check it and even put on my glasses and used a magnifying glass,” she said excitedly. This win made Watts especially happy because her biggest prize prior to it was $2,100, which she won back in the 70’s, when the Maryland Lottery was first created.

So far, Marion has only told her husband of 53 years. The two are about to go on vacation to Myrtle Beach and the lucky winner would like to plan a family cruise to the Caribbean with some of her winnings. She also plans to give some cash to her two sons and  grandchild.

The winning ticket was purchased at St. Mary’s Landing, located on 29935 Three Notch Rd. in St. Mary’s County.

I am so happy for you. After 50+ years of marriage, you and your sweetie deserve a nice vaction and so much more. Your family will love the Carribean cruise, which I’ve done several times. Lots of fun and lots to do on and off the cruise ship. Enjoy and much happiness to the Watts Family!
