$250K Mega Millions Second-Tier Ticket Sold in Edgewater

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011

One “lucky” Maryland Lottery retailer sold a winning $250,000 second-tier Mega Millions ticket for last night’s drawing.   The winning ticket was purchased at Lucky’s Superette, located at 119 Mayo Rd. in Edgewater.  To win the second-tier prize, the player matched every number except the Mega Ball.  Since no winning jackpot ticket was sold, Friday night’s drawing will be worth $99 million, with a cash option of $66 million.  Last night’s winning numbers were 14, 17, 19, 20, 32 and Mega Ball 28.

This is the 13th second-tier Mega Millions winner in Maryland this year.  Along with the current winner, a ticket sold at Riverdale BP in Riverdale on March 26th also remains unclaimed.  All prizes must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date.
