Tuesday night’s jackpot climbs to $42 Million
Cecil County Lottery players are scrambling to check their tickets from Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing. One lucky person matched every number except the Mega Ball, bringing home a $250,000 winning ticket. No one hit the jackpot, which has now grown to $42 million, with a cash option of $27.7 million. The winning numbers were 18, 21, 27, 37, 38 and Mega Ball 7.
Lottery officials anxiously await the holder of the $250,000 winning ticket that was purchased at Elkton Shell, located at 298 Whitehall Rd. in Elkton. This is the ninth second-tier Mega Millions winner in Maryland this year. A ticket sold at Riverdale BP in Riverdale on March 26th remains unclaimed. All prizes must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date.
The multi-state Mega Millions game is played in 42 jurisdictions – including Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Mega Millions drawings can be seen on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:22 pm on WBAL-TV, channel 11.
