$650,000 Winning Multi-Match Ticket Sold in Lanham

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

Fourth Time Jackpot is hit in 2011

Multi-Match players in Lanham are frantically searching for the winning $650,000 jackpot ticket from last night’s drawing.  The winning ticket was purchased at Wegmans, located at 9001 McHugh Dr. in Lanham.  The winner will have the option to choose between the $650,000 annuity prize and a $400,000 cash option.  The winning numbers were 3, 11, 14, 26, 28 and 43.

This jackpot marks the fourth big Multi-Match winner so far in 2011.  In January, a Hagerstown man claimed a $650,000 prize and an anonymous woman claimed a $550,000 winning ticket.  Earlier this month, a Rockville couple claimed a $775,000 jackpot prize. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim their prize.

Multi-Match drawings can be viewed on Monday and Thursday nights at 11:22 PM on WBAL-TV Channel 11.  A $2 purchase delivers three lines of numbers and ten ways to win.

I drive a Suburban. Gas is killing me. They should start a lottery that you pick 2 numbers lets say out of 20. If your ticket has the 2 numbers, Maryland Lottery will give you a fill up at the gas pump. Plus a bonus soda and bag of chips while you are waiting for the fill up to finish. Sound good Maryland????!!!!! If this sounds good, I want my fill up now for giving the idea.

  • god blees everyone who win’s the lottery big time, i guess i am trying to hard to win, that’s why it is not my turn yet

I agree with one of the people here… before the old lottery the minimum used to be 1 million with this game you have to play 2 dollars and the starting price is 500 thousand it takes a long time to go to a million is just does not make any sense they say probabilities are better because you get two additional rows but so far have been playing for 3 years i dont see how one wins…make the price rewards better otherwise some of us will switch to something else….this game is not very good…unless the prices start getting better…

Roy, I used to win $100 to $500 with the old MD Lottery (Pick 3 & Pick 4), but I can’t get any love now. I actually like the Multi-Match game. You get two bonus games which gives you more chances to win. The greatest amount that I’ve hit for is $24, but I know my time to shine will come sooner than later. With Pick 3 & Pick 4, I get disgusted because I spend about $40 a week and I am always off by at least 1 number. I’ve given up on that game. Now if I play Multi-Match twice a week, that’s $10 to 20 a week versus the $40 that I would have blown in Pick 3 and Pick 4 since I play Monday thru Friday. Mega Millions and the PowerBall doesn’t show me any love, but I do play those games maybe once a week depending on my mood. Don’t give up, there are so many games and one of them will fall into your favor.

I used to win with the old md lottery, i think people are fed up with multimatch its not a very good game and too expensive,
virgina lottery pick 6 is amuch better game,
    its tme to change multi-match

  • LBrown

Please let me win and stop just giving me back in winnings the amount I paid for the ticket…if I wanted that I would have kept it. Come on, where is the giving spirit? You know that it is better to give than receive; I’m thinking about trying to help you out Maryland Lottery. I’m still here and waiting! Let’s do it!

  • Angela simonson

I have been playing the lottery every since I was 20 and now I am 35 .i believe thar everyone hits something .in their life so play 6/24/35/38/20/3

  • LBrown

Played a $20 Multi-Match ticket for the last two draqwings-What’s up. I had three of the numbers for the one on 4/18 and nothing on 4/21/11. I even play in different states when I am out of town and still nothing substantial. I had more luck when I first started playing the Maryland Lottery in the 1980’s. To say the least, the odds of winning the Maryland Lottery today are “not good”!

    • mdlottery

LBrown: Please remember that all Lottery games are a game of chance and completely random.

In particular, winning numbers have always been – and will continue to be – purely the luck of the draw and a matter of random chance. Numbers drawn for each of the Lottery’s daily drawing games are arbitrary. Every time a ball is drawn, it is an independent and unique event, completely unaffected by what ball was drawn seconds, hours, days, or weeks earlier. In addition, each ball drawn has the same exact chance of being drawn as any other ball in the machine, at any point in time.

      • Chuggles

It was said that the drawings are random but I have yet to see a jackpot winning in Baltimore City. I don’t think that’s random.

        • Tia Clark

Let’s be honest, someone is always winning in Baltimore. The other counties in Maryland would like a piece of the jackpot too! In in Clinton Maryland and I could use a piece of the jackpot to share with my loved ones. I just have to keep dreaming B-I-G!

          • Chuggles

Like I said I don’t remember a JACKPOT winner ever being announced in BALTIMORE CITY

  • Kim

Why is there no one to answer these questions?
