Jackpot Reaches $29 Million

One lucky Marylander holds a second-tier Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000. The winner bought the ticket at Oakdale Fine Wine & Spirits at 1713 Edmondson Ave. in Catonsville and matched five numbers, missing the jackpot by just one number. The winning numbers were 15-40-45-50-53 and Mega Ball 28. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to the Lottery’s Claims Center, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Since there was no top-tier winner, Friday night’s jackpot climbed to $29 million. There have been seven Mega Millions second-tier winners since the beginning of the year. Another second-tier Mega Millions ticket sold at a 7-Eleven in Upper Marlboro for the April 5 drawing remains unclaimed.
