Capitol Heights Woman Claims Her Keno With J.O. PrizeTuesday, July 23rd, 2013
Linda Victoria Ford of Capitol Heights is the second lucky player to claim a Keno
Avid Keno player wins $7,500 and autographed football
A very happy Linda Ford – who goes by her middle name, Victoria — stopped by Lottery headquarters on Friday, pleased to be one of the four Week 1 winners of the Keno with J.O. Bonus Match-up promotion.
While she was thrilled to be a winner, she was even happier when a Lottery official informed her that she would also be taking home a Jonathan Ogden autographed football in addition to her $7,500 prize. The regular Keno player joked that she would be putting the football to good use with a game of catch later on.
Despite having to make the trip up to Baltimore from Capitol Heights to claim her prize, Victoria admitted that it was well worth the drive. “My friend told me he would walk all the way up if it were him.” Thankfully, she didn’t have to do that.
The four-week promotion under way through Aug. 4 celebrates Ogden’s induction on Aug. 3 into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Players make a Keno purchase of $5 or more to get a Keno Bonus Match-up coupon. Each week, they check mdlottery.com for the numbers of the four winning coupons. One lucky overall winner will get field passes to the Nov. 24 Ravens-Jets game to see Ogden receive his ring.
The lucky woman found the winning Keno with J.O. Bonus Match-up coupon at Palmers Restaurant and Lounge located at 7222 Martin Luther King Jr. Highway in Landover.
