Scratch-Off Pays $1,000 a Week for 20 Years

Set For Life 2It only took $10 on a sunny Friday morning for a Manchester couple to be Set for Life.  After purchasing two Set For Life 2 instant tickets, they scratched their way to $1,000 a week for 20 years.  Avid Lottery players since 1990, the twosome won $50,000 about 15 years ago playing Pick 4. “That win helped us buy our house,” recounted the happy twosome, who likes playing a wide-variety of Lottery games.

Their latest winning experience began when the wife purchased two Set for Life 2 tickets at the store on her way to work.  Shortly after purchasing the ticket, she scratched it and discovered that she was a top-prize instant winner.  “I called my husband and told him the news,” she said.

After finishing work, she drove home and showed her husband the winning ticket.  He immediately drove to the store and bought something to toast their win. The couple, who has one daughter, plans to pay off debt, save and may take a week-long vacation.  “We are so thankful for the Maryland Lottery,” said both happy winners.  The winning ticket was purchased at Exxon, located at

1305 Liberty Rd. in Eldersburg.

Players who collect the letters C-A-S-H from their Set For Life 2 scratch-offs can mail them in for an additional chance to win $1,000 a week for 20 years.
