Ravens Cash Fantasy Instant Prize
The Willis family didn’t get to rest much during their Labor Day family get- together. That’s because they were busy celebrating a $1,000,000 Ravens Cash Fantasy win. Sporting their Ray Lewis Ravens jerseys, siblings Billy Willis of Kent Island and Laura Aaron of Centreville, came to Lottery headquarters with their spouses to claim the scratch-off’s $1 million top prize.
“My mom bought the ticket after she saw a Lottery commercial about it in Ocean City,” said Billy. “We’re all huge Ravens fans so this ticket is right up our alley.”
His sister, Laura, who drives a special-needs bus along with her mom, Linda, told Lottery officials that her mother had previously won $10 from playing Ravens Cash Fantasy and decided to purchase two more tickets with her winnings.
“She called me and asked me a question about the ticket and then she abruptly hung up,” said Linda. “She had no idea she had won $1,000, 000.”
Billy said that the money will be shared by the family for vacations and that his mother wants to give some to her church.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Stevensville Citgo on Duke Street in Stevensville on the Eastern Shore. There are two more $1 million top-prizes remaining on the Ravens Cash Fantasy ticket.
