Takes Home Top Prize on 10X Cash Scratch-off
A 49-year-old firefighter from Elkridge is on fire with enthusiasm for the Maryland Lottery’s 10x Cash scratch-off after winning its $10,000 top prize.
The Howard County man usually relaxes after an overnight shift by playing Maryland Lottery scratch-offs. He picks up a few instant tickets on the way home and scratches them once he arrives. This time, our lucky player stopped in Troy Farms Liquors at 6161 Meadowridge Road in Elkridge and bought a variety of tickets. He scratched them at home and thought he had a win on the 10x Cash ticket, but wasn’t sure.
“I was not familiar with this game and didn’t focus on it until the next day,” he said. “Sometimes, I just throw them away! Good thing I didn’t this time.”
He took the ticket to another Lottery retailer to check for a win and got great news! Our winner, who is not married and has no children, plans to use some of his prize to help his extended family. “I consider myself a very giving person and I plan to help my family the best I can,” he said.
This sizzling $10 ticket is stacked with prizes and features more than 30 more $10,000 top prizes in stores.
