Montgomery County Resident Wins $100,000 Top Prize

Fantasy FortuneFantasy struck twice this month for one Montgomery County man. The lucky winner topped a $100 Lottery win from earlier in April when he revealed the $100,000 top prize on his Fantasy Fortune scratch-off ticket.

After making his purchase, the 38-year-old general construction worker scratched his Fantasy Fortune ticket right in the store. “When I saw the number, I thought maybe I had won ten dollars,” said the winner. When he had finished he could not believe his eyes. “It’s a lot of zeros,” he said. After the win he made a long-distance call to his girlfriend, who lives in El Salvador.

The man says he will use a portion of his prize money to purchase a house and set some savings aside for his two children.

The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-11 convenience store, located on Clopper Road in Germantown.
