Harford County Couple Gallops to Major Racetrax WinWednesday, September 3rd, 2014
Harford County couple wins $10,765 at Half Pints in Bel Air
Enjoy dinner and $10,765 prize
A married Bel Air couple are still celebrating their recent date night to remember at their favorite hometown restaurant, where they enjoyed dinner, good company and a $10,765 win on the Maryland Lottery’s Racetrax game!
Their horses galloped to a Racetrax victory at Half Pint’s Pub in Bel Air. The Harford County residents were ecstatic to add the new prize to an already impressive Racetrax record.
Initially, the dynamic duo shied away from playing the electronic game because they were unfamiliar with horse racing. “Once someone explained it, we were sold” on the game, the wife said.
Soon after their Racetrax debut, the couple won more than $20,000 playing games over the span of one weekend. They’re hoping to spread their luck and love of the game, too, with their community!
“We’ll explain the game to people whenever we’re out,” the husband said. “It’s always a good time. We love it!”
Their latest win evolved from a Superfecta Box bet that four horses would place 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in any order. They plan to put their prize money toward a trip to Hollywood Casino Perryville. The restaurant also benefits from their luck. For selling the winning ticket, Half Pint’s Pub located at 1204 Agora Drive in Bel Air received a $107.65 bonus from the Lottery.
