  • J Robert

% sold Rings of Cash and Red hot Blue 7′s? And I thought % sold was going to be on the new website?

    • mdlottery

J Robert: Both games are 98% sold. Each is within final claim status. It is still our intent to provide percentage sold on the website. We thank you for your patience while we determine the best course of action to do so.

  • yolanda

I am around the 21207 area where can i find Hot five scratch off or lucky Hearts.

  • Sue

    Hi,
I understand that you can enter either by mail or online for the 2nd chance Cruise for Cash game. However, will all the entries be pooled together before the drawing? Or, will there be an equal number of drawings from the online entries and from the mailed in entries (for example, 1 winner selected from online entries and 1 winner selected from the mailed in entries).

    Thank you.

    • mdlottery

Sue: All of the entries are pooled together before the drawing. It’s a long, complicated process. Which is why we’ve allowed for one week between the entry deadline and the drawing date.

  • Ronnie

I have been going store to store looking for Lucky 8 tickets in the 21206 and 21236 area. can you tell me were I may find them

    thank you

    • mdlottery

Ronnie: Lucky 8′s is in final claim status. If any remain available we can no longer find where the ticket is located.

  • Next Big Winner!

    Hi mdlottery,

Can you share the percentage sold for Platinum Rewards?

    Much appreciated,

    NBW!

    • mdlottery

NBW: Platinum Rewards is 83% sold.

  • justcantwin

I just give up. It just seems to impossible to win. I bought 12 bingo tickets and only won on 2. I bought platinum rewards to and almost never win anything. I got three tpd symbols but what are the odds of me winning out of millions of other people.

  • Sue

    Hi,
I love the Cash Lines Scratch off but can no longer seem to find it. Can you tell me where I might be able to purchase it in the 21236, 21237, 21221, 21220 zip codes?

    Thank you.

    • mdlottery

Sue: Try A&M Convenience at 7400 Belair Road.

      • Laura

Sue.. I work at sharkeys liquor store in dundalk, 21222, and we have the cash line scratch off. Hope this helps

  • Sydney McKew

I have purchased 2 tickets, both winners. I have been unable to cash these for 3 weeks now it looks like these are not activated I have been to every place I purchase tickets and no one says it is their’s. Can you tell me from the scanner number what store you sent these to or how can I redeem these tickets??? Much appreciated

    • mdlottery

Sydney: Please contact our security office at 410-230-8800. They will be able to help you with this matter.

  • Tammy W

Are there better odds in winning by buying subricription tickets?

    • mdlottery

Tammy: No the odds remain the same.

  • Annie Mitten

I think it is a shame that you no longer show the Match 5 drawing on air. I know the Lottery is making money so to inconveniece players is a disgrace. Also, we feel better when we see the numbers being drawn on air and not behind the scenes.

    • mdlottery

Annie: In an effort to reduce costs and take advantage of new technologies, Bonus Match 5 drawings will now be available every night on our website at Maryland Lottery Television. MDLotteryTV includes all of our midday, evening and Multi-Match drawings. For more information on how you can obtain your winning numbers, click here.

      • David

If Stash would just stop talking so much and draw the numbers and if the Lottery would quit trying to promote their other games going on, then us players playing the Match 5 would get to see our numbers drawn. It seems like a good solution to me!!!

        • mdlottery

          David:
Check out MDLotteryTV. You can see all of our drawings there.

          • David

I know, I was more joking than serious. Stash does talk alot though!

  • kelly mackey

I have entered about 3,000+ time and have not won, a thing!!!!!!! I do not win, as of today. I am giving up with this and deciding to play, elsewhere of the slots. Is this a rip-off???????

  • Ozzie Neff

Gotta take this opportunity to tell you the new website sucks. It’s very confusing

    • mdlottery

Ozzie: We understood when we launched our new website that it would take some time for players to get used to it. With that said, we are confident that our new website is a significant upgrade from the previous site with such improvements as better navigation, a winning numbers search and archive, blog integration, MDLottery TV and more. Is there anything in particular that I can help you with?

  • Janette

I buy a lot of scratch tickets but lately
I have been been buying a lot of tickets
that is partly scratch even in lottery machines could some one please look in to that.

    • mdlottery

Janette: I’ll have our sales team look into this.

  • Betty

How do I get a Lucky Code?

    • mdlottery

Betty: You can get a Lucky Code in the bottom right hand corner of a Livin’ Lucky scratch-off ticket.

  • http://lottery.com Penny Dobbins

your lucky hearts are $2 not $1 website above incorrect.Aslo I have purchased several tickets from a Royal Farm that there is no such date for the particular game I was playing.
What do I do, I have several like this

    • mdlottery

Penny: Thanks for pointing out the typo. I have made the correction.

Can you please explain your question a bit further? I’m not sure what you are referring to.

  • Lawrence Seglinski

    where’s the LUCKY CODE??????

    • mdlottery

Lawrence: The LUCKY CODE is found in the lower right hand corner of a Livin’ Lucky scratch-off ticket.

  • BRENDA ALESCI

I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY FROM MY E-MAILS. MY QUESTION IS WHERE CAN A CONSUMER CHECK OUR SCRATCHOFFS BESIDES THE RETAILER? MOST OF THE TIME THEY ARE TOO BUSY. THANK YOU

    • mdlottery

Brenda: At this time the only way to have scratch-offs checked is through the retailer terminal. The Lottery operation should be made available during all hours that the business is open and our computer system is operating. If you have specific complaints regarding sales and cashing please let us know and we will address it through our reps and corporate accounts personnel.

  • Chris

Is Lucky Hearts 8% sold or was that supposed to say 80% sold?

    • mdlottery

Chris: Lucky Hearts is 8% sold.

  • http://mozillaFirefox Mildred Samuel

I have been buying Living Lucky scratch-off at times but, my income of once a month I can’t afford to play the game like I want to because all my bills are paid in full first of each month. I might buy one hear or there before my money starts to get low. I have to save my until I get paid again. I have faith that one day I will be appearing on television winning my millions also.

Thanks You for the Maryland State Lottery!!!

  • http://MD.LOTTERY vivian mcclain

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE NUMBERS BEING DRAWN ON WEEKENDS DURING THE DAY, IT HAS MADE ME NOT TRUST THE LOTTERY SYSTEM ANY MORE, PLUS YOU FALSELY ADVERTISE THAT SOME SCRATCH OFFS ARE WINNERS 4086 OR MORE AND I HAVE GONE SEVERAL PLACES IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD BUYING TICKETS AND FIND THAT TO BE ALIE, FROM NOW ON I AM ONLY PLAYING THE EVENING PICK 3 AND 4 WHERE I CAN SEE THE DRAWINGS AND NO MORE SCRATCH OFFS IN THE CITY WHERE I LIVE. THANK YOU VIVIAN MCCLAIN

    • mdlottery

      Vivian: Thanks for writing in.

The drawing you are referring to is the Saturday midday (12:27 PM) drawing that does not air. The reason is because children’s programming typically airs from 10AM until anytime between 12:30 and 1:30 PM. FCC regulations prohibit the airing of Lottery drawings during any children’s programming so we conduct it off-air and scroll the winning numbers after the children’s shows are over. Sunday drawings air unless there is a national program on that can not be interrupted, which tends to happen frequently.

If you would like to see our drawings, you can always check MDLotteryTV within 30 minutes of the drawing time. There you can see the actual drawing as taken place at our partner station WBAL-TV.

As for scratch-offs, winning tickets are distributed randomly throughout an entire game. If the average chance of winning a prize is 1:5, this does not mean there is an automatic winner within every five consecutive tickets. It refers to the ratio for the entire print run of the game. There is no pattern as to where winning tickets will occur.
