Top Tier Ticket with Doubler, All Taxes Paid Sold in Leonardtown

Attention Bonus Match 5 players! If you bought a ticket for the Sunday, April 20 drawing at a Leonardtown retailer, check your numbers. You might hold the Maryland Lottery’s first $100,000 winning ticket in its Bonus Match 5 Doubler and All Taxes Paid promotion.

The winning ticket, which has the word “Doubler” printed at the top, matches the five numbers of 2-10-11-18-25. The drawing’s Bonus Ball was 39. The Lottery has two Bonus Match 5 promotions underway through May 4 that award Doublers at random to double prizes on winning tickets and that also pay all federal and state taxes on $50,000 and $100,000 prizes.

Our lucky winner bought the ticket at Centre Liquors at 40955 Merchants Lane in Leonardtown. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from one to 39. The Bonus Ball, which is drawn from the remaining 34 numbers, provides an extra chance to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!

Research tells us that more winners come from areas of the state that have a high population because in those areas more people are playing.

For instance, if you have 1,000 players in City A and only 100 players in City B; City A is likely to produce more winners at nearly a 10:1 rate.

With that said, the geographic locations of our winners are random. There is no way to predict where the winners will be. Please take a look at our our winners stories. There you’ll see that we have winners from all over the state.
