Board of Public Works approves contract

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) and the Baltimore Ravens have joined forces for the fifth year in a row. The Board of Public Works yesterday approved the contract, which will include the Ravens Champions $2 scratch-off ticket. The contract gives the Lottery the rights to use the Ravens logo, marks and experiential prizes.

As in previous years, Lottery players will have the chance to win cash and experiential Ravens’ prizes through the scratch-off and other Ravens-themed promotions. The Lottery will give away prizes including season tickets for life, season tickets for 2014, an away trip with the team, game-day packages and more.

“We look forward to continuing a successful partnership with the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens,” said Stephen Martino, director of the MLGCA. “Ravens-themed promotions have always been popular with our players.”

The Champions scratch-off will launch by the end of July. The ticket will be sold at every Baltimore Ravens home game and at the more than 4,400 Lottery retail locations across the state.
