5 Card Cash - coming soon

Nightly drawing with two ways to win – $100,000 Top Prize

Marylanders have another game to try their “hand” at playing each night.  Beginning November 12, the Lottery will offer 5 Card Cash, a poker-style terminal game using a 52-card playing deck.  The $2, quick pick-only game offers players two ways to win; up to $10,000 instantly and up to $100,000 every evening.

5 Card Cash players can win instantly if their randomly issued ticket features a traditional poker hand such a three of a kind, a full house or a royal flush.  Instant prizes range from a free ticket to $10,000. Players can also win by matching at least two of the randomly selected cards on their ticket to the winning cards drawn nightly.  Correctly matching all five delivers the game’s $100,000 top prize.

“We’re very excited to introduce 5 Card Cash to our lineup,” said Lottery Director Stephen Martino.  “It brings players a new and unique way to experience the Lottery.”

Ticket sales for 5 Card Cash end daily at 7:30 p.m.  Drawings will not be televised, but 5 Card Cash results will appear on screen during the televised evening drawing.  Results will also be available here on and on the Lottery’s winning numbers phone line, 410-230-8830.
