Third-largest Mega Millions jackpot in the history of the game

The Mega Millions jackpot is approaching record-breaking status. There was no jackpot winner from Friday night’s drawing, making tomorrow night’s drawing worth $363 million. The cash option is $259.8 million. If the jackpot is won in Maryland, it will be the highest win in the state since the Lottery was established in 1973.
Although there was no jackpot winner on Friday, there were 37 second-tier winners across the country including two $250,000 winners in Maryland. Both second-tier tickets were claimed this morning; the first was claimed by a 66 year-old retired Baltimore City man and the second was claimed by a Parkville couple. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to claim. Remaining unclaimed second-tier tickets are as follows:

3/20: Murphy’s Brass Rail in Pasadena
3/9: AC&T in Hagerstown

The multi-state Mega Millions game is played in 44 states and jurisdictions – including Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Mega Millions drawings can be seen on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:22 pm on WBAL-TV, Channel 11 and at 11:53 on MDT.
