Wins $50,000 on Money Talks Scratch-off
The hour-and-a-half drive to Baltimore was more than worth it for a Hurlock woman and her fiancé on Friday. The regular scratch-off player could hardly believe her eyes when she saw that she had won a $50,000 top prize on the new Money Talks scratch-off.
“I saw that I had a matching number and then rushed to scratch the space beneath it to see how much I had won,” she said. “As soon as I saw the $50,000, I texted my daughter to tell her what happened.”
As soon as her daughter saw the text, she came rushing over to see what exactly her mom was talking about. “I don’t know if she believed me at first, but after she saw the ticket, I know she was just as excited as I was,” said the woman.
The winner plans to pay off some bills and save the rest for a rainy day. The winning ticket was purchased at the Shop Stop on 300 Broad Street in Hurlock.
