$500,000 Jackpot Win Second in Five Days for County

Multi-Match luck seems to have settled over Prince George’s County in the last few days. The county is home to jackpot wins in consecutive drawings, last week in Laurel and last night in Clinton. Monday’s $500,000 win followed immediately on the heels of a $2.8 million prize won this past Thursday.

Last night’s winning ticket was purchased from Tucker’s Liquors, 8100 Old Alexandria Ferry Road in Clinton. The winning numbers were 04-05-08-18-30-38. The winner has 181 days to claim the prize.

This latest jackpot win is the seventh Multi-Match has produced this year. According to lottery officials, thirteen of the last fourteen jackpot wins in Maryland have been courtesy of the lotto-style game.

“Multi-Match doesn’t get the spotlight that Powerball and Mega Millions do,” reported Lottery Communications Director Carole Everett. “But with seven jackpot wins so far this year, players are paying attention.”
