Wearing a Davy Crocket-style raccoon-tailed hat, a Perryville man trailed his way into Lottery Headquarters to claim a $50,000 Super Bonus Crossword top prize. The self-employed laborer told Lottery officials now that he won big, his loved ones would get a merrier Christmas this year and he could take his trip of a lifetime, to see the Alamo.
The 55-year-old man said that he has always wanted to visit the Alamo in Texas and see the history of Davy Crockett. “It has been a life-long dream of mine for as long as I can remember,” he said. The lucky winner also plans to save some of his winnings and pay a few bills. The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-11 on Pulaski Highway in Perryville.
