Mega Millions Jackpot Increases to $125 Million

                                   
(Baltimore) – The Mega Millions jackpot keeps on growing. After a late morning conference call, Mega Millions directors decided to raise the jackpot to $125 million for tonight’s drawing. The cash option is now $77.1 million.

The jackpot has been rolling since January 1^st after it was hit in Texas.  The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever was $390 million in March.  Since July, Maryland has seen fourteen $250,000 second-tier winners and two jackpot winners, including Bunky Bartlett who split a $330 million jackpot in August.

The multi-state Mega Millions game is played in Maryland, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, Washington, Texas and California. The numbers for Mega Millions can be seen on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:22 pm on WBAL-TV, Channel 11.
