Stop for Gas Turns into Cash for Baltimore Woman
Wins $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Top Prize

(Baltimore) – On Tuesday, Stephanie Muir stopped at Dash In for gas. She didn’t get the gas, but did buy a quick pick Bonus Match 5 ticket.  Later that night, she went to mdlottery.com to find the winning numbers.  “I usually won’t check the tickets and they wind up sitting around for awhile,” she admits.  Stephanie is happy she checked her tickets this time since she discovered she was $50,000 richer.

Before getting too excited though, the 21-year-old called her mom to confirm the win.  Stephanie’s mother, Michelle, loves playing the Lottery and is frequently a winner. “We call her the official Lottery woman,” said Stephanie. “I knew she would know.”  Once her mother confirmed it was a winning ticket, she told Stephanie to make sure to hold on to it and put it in a safe place.

A physical therapy major at Carroll County Community College, Stephanie plans to share her winnings with her family and buy the gas that she originally stopped to get. “She’s been riding on gas fumes for four days now,” said her mom. “I’m waiting for the $50,000 check,” Stephanie laughed.   The winning ticket was purchased at Dash In located at 11201 York Road in Cockeysville.
