Price is Right Winner Hits Jackpot Again
Dundalk Man Wins $50,000

(Baltimore) – Four years ago, Nicholas Derita, won $42,000 in cash and prizes on the Price is Right game show. He was fortunate enough to make it to the showcase and won. Now it’s the Maryland Lottery’s turn to show Nicholas the money.

The 25-year-old paramedic brought a 3D Jackpot scratch-off ticket on Friday and won $50,000, thanks in part to the store cashier. “I just asked for a $5 ticket and the cashier picked 3D Jackpot,” said Nicholas.  He scratched the ticket in his ambulance. “I told my partner I thought I won $50,000, but I wasn’t completely sure,” said the lucky player.  Later that evening, Nicholas took the ticket back to the store where his win was verified. “I called all my friends and family, it was very exciting,” he said.

Nicholas has two paramedic jobs, one for Harford County and the other, for a private company. He works almost every day. He said because of the $50,000 win, he’ll take some time off and pay some bills.

The winning ticket was purchased at Macphail Exxon located at 600 West Macphail Road in Bel Air.
