Baltimore Man Wins $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Prize
Picks His Own Numbers and Wins

(Baltimore) – A 54-year-old avid Bonus Match 5 player was home watching television yesterday, when he decided to go and play the Lottery.  Fredderick Cole didn’t know what to play, so he marked off random numbers on the playslip and won $50,000.

“The numbers didn’t mean anything to me, I just picked them out,” said the player. “It was pretty amazing.” Fredderick realized he was a winner that same night. He and a friend checked the ticket several times. “I thought I only had four of the numbers,” Fredderick said. “But when I looked again, I saw that I had five numbers.”

The stock clerk at a Pikesville Country Club said he plans to use the prize money towards a car and to start his own real estate business. The winning ticket was purchased at the Downtown Tobacco Outlet, located at 500 W. Lexington Street in Baltimore.
