Mega Millions
$10,000 Win Helps Reunite Kingsville Couple
Number of Third-Tier
Mega Millions Prizes Reaches 75 Since January
(Baltimore) – The Mega Millions game has brought lots of
happy winners to Lottery headquarters recently. Now, it’s helping to
bring Clarence and Christie Bischoff closer to their dream of being
together. “My first thought was, I can get to her sooner,” said
Clarence Bischoff.
Expressing
his appreciation to Lottery officials, he added, “I bet you see a
lot of happy people.”
The couple
has been living apart since January, when Christie had to relocate
to West Virginia for her job. Clarence, a 40-year-old
Kingsville
resident, has been living with his parents while completing his work
on a home rehab in Baltimore. Their winnings will allow them to pay
off credit cards, enabling Clarence to move sooner than he
anticipated.
Thirty-four-year-old Christie, who accompanied her husband to
Lottery headquarters, said that she made the five-hour drive last
night so that she could be with him when he claimed the prize. In
addition, to catching up on their bills, the happy twosome intends
to take a cruise with their winnings. The winning ticket was sold at
Kingsville Food Rite, located at 12037 Belair Rd. in Kingsville.
The Mega
Millions game has produced 13 second-tier, $250,000 winners and
75 third-tier $10,000 prizes in Maryland since January. The
multi-state game, has awarded over $8.7 million in prizes to
Maryland Lottery players so far this year. With no jackpot winner
Tuesday night, tomorrow night’s drawing is worth $145 million.

Millions game is played in 12 states, including Maryland,
