Dundalk Man Wins $50,000 on Bonus Match 5

(Baltimore) – Donald Pearl was having an ordinary Sunday, which turned quite extraordinary.  He watched the Orioles game, then after celebrating the team’s big win, he had a great victory of his own.  Donald, 71, discovered he won $50,000 playing the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5.

“I’ve been playing the numbers for years and I’ve never won anything like this,” he said excitedly.  Donald, a retired pipe fitter, plays the Lottery almost every day, picking random numbers for Pick 3, Pick 4 and Bonus Match 5.  Donald plans to share the winnings with his wife and three grandchildren.    

The winning ticket was purchased at the Soda Pop Shop located at 7715 Westfield Road in Baltimore.
