Mega Millions & Powerball Mobile Updates

Time to check those tickets, Marylanders! This past weekend, more than 42,000 Powerball and Mega Millions players in Maryland added some extra money to their wallets, including a $1 million Powerball and a $250,000 Mega Millions winner. Both tickets missed winning the respective jackpot by only one number.

The $1 million winning second-tier Powerball ticket was sold at East Liquors at 6367-71 Livingston Rd. in Oxon Hill. After the jackpot failed to produce a jackpot winner, Wednesday’s drawing is now worth $222 million with a 144.5 million cash option.

The $250,000 winning second-tier Mega Millions ticket from Friday night’s drawing was sold at the Columbia Road Exxon at 12601 Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring. The Mega Millions jackpot rolled again, making tomorrow night’s drawing worth $139 million with a cash option of $104.8 million.

The second-tier winners have 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to the Lottery’s Claims Center, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
