Sixth jackpot hit in 2019
Congratulations to our new Multi-Match millionaire! We’re looking for a lucky player who won the $1.3 million jackpot for the Monday, Nov. 18 drawing.
The winner, who is the sixth player to hit a Multi-Match jackpot in 2019, can choose between the $1.3 million annuity or an estimated $1.075 million cash option (before taxes). The player bought the winning ticket with the numbers 2, 8, 14, 15, 18 and 26 at Woodlawn Sunoco located at 6725 Dogwood Road in Woodlawn in Baltimore County.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe location. The player has 182 days from the drawing date to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters located at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.
The lucky retailer will receive a $1,300 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Of the five Multi-Match jackpots that were hit earlier this year, one remains unclaimed. The Lottery is still looking for the player who hit the $775,000 jackpot in the Aug. 19 drawing with a lucky ticket sold at Giant #368 located at 842 Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg.
The top three Multi-Match jackpot wins were $4.8 million on Sept. 19, 2009; $4.45 million on March 18, 2010 and $3.8 million on Dec. 16, 2010. The twice-weekly game, which is exclusive to Maryland, launched in 2006.
On each $2 Multi-Match ticket, players receive three lines of six numbers ranging from 1 to 43. The Lottery draws six numbers from that range every Monday and Thursday night. Players match between three and five numbers on any one line to win up to $1,000. Match between five and 18 numbers on all three lines combined to win up to $2,000 more. To win the jackpot, players match all six numbers on any one line. The overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 8.5.
Watch the drawings at 11:22 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays on WBAL TV. Results also are available online at mdlottery.com and on your smartphone. Simply download the free MD Lottery app in the Apple and android app stores.
