$1 Million Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Pasadena

Maryland is the only state with a second-tier winner

Heads up, Marylanders! If you bought a Mega Millions ticket for Tuesday night’s drawing at the Magothy Inn in Pasadena, be sure to check your numbers!

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency is looking for the lucky person holding the $1 million second-tier winning ticket sold at the Magothy Inn at 546 Center Street. Numbers on the winning ticket, which were quick-picked by the terminal, match five of the numbers drawn: 13-34-56-62-64. The winner missed the Mega Ball, which was 6, and did not add the Megaplier, which was 5. The lucky player has 182 days to claim the prize at Maryland Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Maryland had the only second-tier winner in Tuesday night’s drawing, which resulted in more than 1 million winners. Because no one won the jackpot, it rolls to $20 million for Friday night’s drawing.

This is Maryland’s first second-tier winner of 2014. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

Watch Mega Millions drawings at 11:22 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays on WBAL-TV, Channel 11. The multistate game is sold in 45 states and jurisdictions.
