Check your Powerball tickets, Maryland! Some lucky player bought a winning second-tier ticket worth $1 million at Martin’s in Rising Sun for the Saturday, June 14 drawing.
The store is located at 24 Rising Sun Towne Center. No one won the jackpot, which rolled to $50 million with a cash option of $29.4 million for the Wednesday, June 18 drawing. The lucky ticket sold here matched all five white balls, missing only the Power Ball number. Check your ticket to see if it carries the winning numbers of 9, 33, 42, 45, 54 and Power Ball 30. This latest $1 million win is the sixth second-tier Powerball win in Maryland this year.
For selling the second-tier winning ticket, the retailer receives a $2,500 bonus. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
