$100,000 Havre De Grace Winner Thought He Was Dreaming

Claims top prize on $100,000 Extreme Cash game

It all seems surreal to a lucky Harford County man, who is celebrating his first big Maryland Lottery win. The scratch-off player had $50 to spare for Lottery fun and took a chance on the new $30 $100,000 Extreme Cash scratch-off. His payoff was a $100,000 top prize!

The 66-year-old visited EZ Quick Food Market located at 801 Revolution Court in Havre de Grace. After paying all of his expenses, the loyal player stopped in at the Lottery retailer in hopes of turning a little bit of his disposable income into something more. The Havre de Grace resident usually buys $20 instant tickets but recalls that the retailer was temporarily out of that price point. He stepped up his purchase to the $30 $100,000 Extreme Cash game, which had 61 $100,000 top prizes remaining.

The lucky player returned home to his recliner and scratched off his instant ticket. When he first looked at the scratch-off, the winner said, “I thought I was dreaming.” Once convinced of his Lottery luck, the happy husband told his wife to come take a look. She, too, was shocked at his big win.

EZ Quick Food Market also benefits. The Harford County store receives a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off. This lucky retailer and others around the state have plenty of $100,000 Extreme Cash scratch-offs for sale. The game launched on Sept. 21 and is loaded with prizes from $30 to $100,000.
