Winners claim first two of 118 top prizes
Two lucky Maryland Lottery scratch-off players found $10,000 top-prize winning instant tickets in the 10x Cash game that debuted July 25. The popular $10 game still has 116 top prizes remaining, along with more than 160,000 prizes between $50 and $500.

The 58-year-old federal government worker said she had her “OMG moment” when she purchased her instant ticket at 3 Star Liquors located at 1305 7th Street in Frederick. The U.S. Army veteran says the prize came at the perfect time and will go toward medical expenses. When she’s not winning the Lottery, this lucky winner spends her free time transporting rescued dogs from Hagerstown to Harrisburg, Pa.
The 31-year-old Largo man found his lucky scratch-off at Oakcrest Econoway located at 5258 Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights. A man of few words, the lucky winner was the first in the state to claim the game’s top prize at Lottery headquarters the day after the game went on sale.
