Annapolis Man Claims $100,000 Win with 50X The Cash Scratch-off

Anne Arundel County winner takes home game’s top prize

An 86-year-old Maryland Lottery player is the latest to win a $100,000 top prize on a 50X The Cash instant ticket.

It didn’t take long for the Anne Arundel County resident to uncover his prize, either, after visiting his Lottery retailer, Parole Liquors. The Annapolis man scratched off the game’s five winning numbers and found a lucky matching number on the first row of the play area.

The $10 scratch-off launched with a family of X Multiplier games on Jan. 18. The five games —5X The Cash, 10X The Cash, 20X The Cash, 50X The Cash and 100X The Cash — offer “Xtra Xciting” ways to win instant prizes of up to $1 million and second-chance prizes of up to $50,000. Two second-chance drawings remain on March 31 and April 28.

This game still has many instant prizes available for future winners to find, including seven $100,000 top prizes, nine unclaimed $50,000 prizes and more than 575,000 prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000.

Our winner’s luck helps his favorite Lottery retailer, too. Parole Liquors located at 2125 Forest Drive in Annapolis will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off worth $100,000.
