Lottery looking for fourth $50,000 Bonus Match 5 winner in last eight days
For the fourth time in the last eight days, the Maryland Lottery is looking for a $50,000 top-prize winner in Bonus Match 5. The Thursday, March 2 drawing produced a winning ticket sold by a retailer in Annapolis.
Check your ticket if you bought one at the Auto International Repair Center located at 1207 West Street in Annapolis. The lucky ticket matches the five winning numbers of 7, 9, 21, 23 and 27; the Bonus Ball was 26.
Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
The retailer is also a winner. Auto International Repair Center will receive a $500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the top-prize-winning ticket.
Bonus Match 5 players have been on a roll lately. There were seven $50,000 top-prize-winning tickets sold during February. Three of those came last week, when a winning ticket was sold in Baltimore for the Feb. 23 drawing and winning tickets were sold in both Baltimore and Owings Mills for the Feb. 24 drawing.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
