Baltimore Babysitter’s Mega Millions Ticket a Quick-Pick Winner

Claims $15,000 prize because she added Megaplier

A loyal Maryland Lottery player is happily planning a trip to Honduras financed with her $15,000 win in the March 6 Mega Millions drawing. The Baltimore babysitter added the Megaplier option to her ticket, which tripled her prize!

Our winner found her Lottery luck on the afternoon of the drawing, when she visited Maiden Choice Liquors located at 1064 Maiden Choice Lane in Baltimore to buy Mega Millions tickets. The 41-year-old let the terminal quick pick her numbers and added the Megaplier option. To her surprise, later that night, one of the tickets matched four white balls and the Mega Ball for a $5,000 win. The Megaplier made the win even three times sweeter!

The lucky woman, who has worked full time as a babysitter for 18 years, shared the great news with her daughter. She has never won such a large amount and kept her winning ticket with her at all times until she claimed her prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
