Claims $77,777 prize on Lucky 7s Multiplier scratch-off
While waiting in line at a Cockeysville convenience store, a lucky lady from Freeland was drawn to the bright colors of the Lottery’s Lucky 7s Multiplier scratch-off. She purchased the $10 instant ticket and wasted no time revealing her fate and celebrating a $77,777 top-prize win.
The 86-year-old visited High’s #051 located at 10825 Beaver Dam Road in Cockeysville. She had second thoughts about buying the scratch-off because the man in front of her bought three Lucky 7s Multiplier instant tickets. After purchasing her usual Pick 3 and Cash4Life tickets, however, the player decided to go ahead and try a Lucky 7s Multiplier scratch-off.
After seeing her big win, “I nearly fell over at the counter,” said the Baltimore County resident.
The loyal Lottery player quickly shared news of her good fortune with her daughter and granddaughter, who she says were in “utter shock.” When asked of her plans for her prize, they happy winner said she may purchase new living room furniture. Otherwise, she’ll put all of the money into savings.
High’s #051 will also share in the prize. The Baltimore County retailer will receive a $777 bonus for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off in the game.
The Lucky 7s Multiplier is a member of the Lucky 7 family of games, which includes a $1 Lucky 7s scratch-off and $2 Lucky 7s Doubler, $5 Lucky 7s Tripler and $20 Lucky 777 games. There are still two top prizes remaining in the Lucky 7s Multiplier game along with seven $10,000 prizes and more than 225,000 other prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
