Baltimore Family Man Brings Home $100,000 Top Prize

William Foos - Lucky Times 10The objective of any marriage is to keep your spouse happy.   William Foos, of Baltimore, took that to the 10th power.  He purchased several Lucky Times 10 scratch-off tickets and one of them produced a $100,000 winner.

Since 1976, William has been purchasing scratch-offs for his wife, because it’s something that makes her happy.  “She has been playing for years,” says the 53-year-old operations engineer. “I go to the local store and buy tickets, and she scratches them off.”

On Wednesday, the trip to the store proved to be the trip-of-a-lifetime. William purchased five Lucky Times 10 scratch-offs and gave them to his wife later that evening.  She scratched them off and immediately started to scream.  “I didn’t believe her when she said we won $100,000,” said William.

The Foos’ plan to save money for retirement and let their “girls” go on a shopping spree, including their three granddaughters.  “My whole point is to keep my wife happy.  Whatever she wants, she gets” said William.

The winning ticket was purchased at Royal Farms, located at 1601 Middlebourgh Rd. in Baltimore.
