Top Prize rolls to $21 million with 14 possible millionaires for Friday drawing
A Baltimore man became Maryland’s second $20,000 winner to date in the new Friday night MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB™ game.
The anonymous player bought his winning ticket in the Oct. 31 drawing from Drug City Pharmacy at 2805 Old North Point Road in Baltimore. No one playing the $5 multistate game won its Top Prize, which rolls to $21 million for the Friday, Nov. 7 drawing. If the Top Prize is hit, the game will have a second drawing to award 14 MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB prizes of $1 million.
This new game went on sale Oct. 19. Its unique play style features three ways to win $1 million. Players can win the Top Prize, which is capped at $25 million. Once that Top Prize is won, a separate drawing takes place to award a minimum of 10 MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB prizes of $1 million each. Each week the Top Prize is not won, the number of $1 million prizes increases.
Players also have a shot at winning a $1 million prize on the upcoming national primetime “MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRES’ CLUB” TV show that debuts in February. The show will feature an audience of players who are randomly selected after completing MONOPOLY-themed Property Sets. Players compile sets by entering web codes from their tickets on PlayMMC.com.
Those selected through a drawing will be flown to Las Vegas where the show is taped. Winners receive a five-day, four-night stay for two plus spending money. The deadline to enter the first drawing is Nov. 25.
