Baltimore Man Wins $50,000 on Taxes Paid Bucks Deluxe Scratch-off

Taxes Paid Bucks DeluxeA short wait for a friend was long on benefits for a Baltimore City resident. “I was waiting for my buddy and played to pass the time,” said the 62-year-old. “I didn’t win on the first ticket so I purchased another.”

That other ticket was the Taxes Paid Buck Deluxe which paid off to the tune of $50,000. But the winner was not convinced of his windfall. “I know it’s not the big one,” he said as he looked at the ticket.  “I gave it to the proprietor to see if it was a winner and he told me I had to take it to Lottery headquarters to cash.”

Upon arriving home he showed the ticket to his wife of 40 years, who said, “It’s got to be a $50,000 winning ticket, you have three hats in a row.”  Despite the great news, the man remained calm. “I was kind of cool. I didn’t want to get too excited or get too loud,” said the retired longshoreman.  “I remembered passing the Montgomery Park building and saying to myself, ‘I’m going to go there one day.’”

With his prize money, the winner plans to buy a new car and get some home improvements.

The winning ticket was purchased at Six Pack N More, located at 5911 Belair Rd. in Baltimore City.
