Lottery looking for two $50,000 winners from Feb. 24 drawing
We’re looking for two very happy Bonus Match 5 players! The Friday, Feb. 24 drawing produced not one but two $50,000 winning tickets sold by retailers in Baltimore and Owings Mills!
Check your tickets if you bought one at Casa Mia Restaurant located at 8601 Honeygo Blvd. in Baltimore or at Valley BP located at 9604 Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills. The lucky tickets match the five winning numbers of 2, 7, 20, 34 and 35; the Bonus Ball was 21.
Lottery officials urge the two winners to sign the back of their tickets and put them in a safe place. They have 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
The two retailers are also winners! The Lottery will give the stores a bonus of $500 for selling top-prize tickets in the game.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
