33rd top-tier ticket sold in 2015
Happy Friday, Bonus Match 5 players! The Maryland Lottery is looking for the lucky person holding the top-prize winning ticket from the Thursday, Oct. 22 drawing. They bought the ticket from the Airport Shell at 1001 Aviation Boulevard in Baltimore.
The lucky player wins a prize of $50,000 or $100,000 if the ticket carries a Doubler message as part of a Lottery Bonus Match 5 Doubler and Taxes Paid promotion. Under the promotion running through Nov. 15, top-prize winners who have the congratulatory message printed on their tickets get their prize doubled AND all taxes paid by the Lottery.
The winning ticket matches the five numbers of 4, 9, 12, 25 and 34; the Bonus Ball was 3. Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
The retailer is also a winner; the Lottery will give the Airport Shell a bonus of $500 for selling the lucky ticket.
This is the 33rd top-prize Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2015 and the first since Aug. 25. The Lottery is still looking for the two people holding $50,000 winning Bonus Match 5 tickets from the July 6 and May 26 drawings.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from one to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
