Wins $20,100 with Racetrax Superfecta wager
Following her Racetrax routine paid off for a lucky Baltimore woman, who just claimed her second big Lottery win in two years. The retiree made a trip to her usual place to play her favorite Maryland Lottery game and a few days later got to make a trip to Lottery headquarters to claim a $20,100 Racetrax prize.
The 66-year-old frequents Village Shell gas station located at 4598 Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore to play Racetrax. She placed a $2 two-draw quick-pick Superfecta wager and only learned of her win a little later that day after almost discarding her ticket. The city resident decided to take a second to scan it using the Lottery app on her smartphone. Shocked at the apparent win, she had to have the ticket scanned again by the Lottery retailer to confirm her luck.
Her lucky horse combination was 2, 3, 12 and 11. The happy woman was absolutely stunned by her big win. She doesn’t have any plans for her prize other than to put the windfall into her savings account.
The Shell station also benefits. The retailer will receive a $201 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1 percent of the prize.
