Wins Third Top Prize with the Blackout Bingo Ticket
Pamela Silber of Baltimore knows just how lucky she is when it comes to playing the Maryland Lottery. Her scratch-off record already included $10,000 and $50,000 wins, but she wasn’t done just yet – she came in Wednesday with a $30,000 Blackout Bingo top prize winner!
Pamela, a big fan of bingo-themed scratch-offs, had purchased two $2 Blackout Bingo tickets to check after work. “I won $4 on the first ticket,” she said. “Then I started scratching the other ticket and saw I had won $5 with a regular bingo across.”
The 59-year-old continued to scratch her ticket, revealing a Blackout Bingo card worth $30,000. “Usually I play the $5 bingo-themed tickets, so this was a nice surprise.”
The county government employee plans to pay off her bills and wants to take care of her four cats. “One of my cats is very sick and has quite a few vet bills. This will definitely help,” she told Lottery officials. “If I win again, then maybe I can take a little time off.”
Pamela picked up her lucky ticket at the Towson Shell, located at 935 York Road in Towson. There are three $30,000 top prizes remaining on the $2 ticket.
