Lucky top-prize ticket sold in April 30 drawing
We’ve got another Bonus Match 5 winner! The Maryland Lottery is looking for the player holding a $50,000 top-prize-winning ticket from the Tuesday, April 30 drawing. Route 40 BP in Baltimore County sold the ticket, which is the game’s third $50,000 winner sold in the past week.
The ticket from the April 30 drawing matches the five winning numbers of 1, 11, 15, 31 and 35; the Bonus Ball was 7. Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days to claim the prize and must come in person to Lottery headquarters at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.
This is our 18th winning Bonus Match 5 ticket of 2019. The two other top-prize tickets from the last week have both been claimed. A player calling his big win “Long Overdue” bought his ticket in the April 23 drawing from Shoppers #2342 of Clinton. Derrell and Elaine of Baltimore claimed their winning ticket in the April 26 drawing, finding their Lottery luck at 7-Eleven #11704 in Columbia.
Route 40 BP also has reason to celebrate! The Lottery will give the Baltimore County store located at 5612 Baltimore National Pike a bonus of $500 for selling the lucky ticket.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win!
