Bankroll Buck$ Game Makes Dad’s Day $100,000 Brighter

Scratch-off player enjoys top-prize win

A Baltimore resident is breathing easier today after claiming a breathtaking $100,000 prize from a Maryland Lottery Bankroll Buck$ scratch-off.

Affectionately known as “Big Country,” our newest big winner in the $10 game attributes his prize to his positive spirit and methodology of searching the Lottery website for new games and their remaining top prizes. The 45-year-old sees this win as a huge step in the right direction toward a brighter future for his twin sons.

“I plan on taking these winnings and putting them into a savings account for my two boys,” said “Big Country.” “I look forward to seeing them use this money for college.”

The Baltimore City father of two had his sons by his side as he revealed the winning instant ticket at a Baltimore Royal Farms. After scratching off the prize under his matching number and seeing $100,000, “Big Country” started jumping up and down, doing a happy dance while they watched. The widower has plans to use his prize on a family vacation.

“Once the pandemic is over, I plan to take my boys to Universal Studios in Florida,” said “Big Country.” “I still remember going to the entertainment park when I was younger and I want to give my sons the same great memories!”

The fortunate fellow won one of eight $100,000 top prizes in the game, which debuted on Dec. 28. Bankroll Buck$ still has five $100,000 top prizes, seven $50,000 second-place prizes and 20 $10,000 prizes available.

The Maryland Lottery retailer visited by “Big Country” is also a winner. Royal Farms #042 located at 1302 Windlass Drive in Baltimore received a bonus of $1,000 from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off.
