Paul Stanley Jr. claims $28,344 prize on Superfecta bet

Old homes can supply more than fond memories! Paul Stanley Jr., a retired D.C. Metro employee, used the numbers from his old address on a Racetrax wager that gave him a $28,344 payout.

The 84-year-old found his lucky win at Westlake Wine & Beer in Bethesda. Paul visits Westlake every now and then to play Racetrax and Pick 3/Pick 4. He purchased four tickets, added the Bonus multiplier to all of them and used numbers from his old address — 9, 3, 10 and 1 — for one game. Later that day, Paul checked his numbers and realized he won big. The bonus for his game tripled his prize! The lucky Montgomery County resident stayed calm, only sharing the news with his wife of 52 years.

Paul now works as a real estate broker and likes to relax in his spare time. When asked of his plans for his big prize, the loyal player said that he would have taken a cruise, but can’t do so now due to the coronavirus health crisis. He save his prize, instead.

Westlake Wine & Beer located at 10442 Autopark Avenue will also share in the celebration. The lucky Montgomery County retailer will receive a $283.44 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1 percent of the prize.
