Bingo Fan Finds Pot of Gold Under Maryland Lottery Rainbow

Claims $30,000 Top Prize on Rainbow Blackout Bingo Scratch-off

Rainbow Blackout BingoA 72-year-old Baltimore Bingo lover found a $30,000 pot of gold under the Maryland Lottery’s rainbow last weekend by playing the popular Rainbow Blackout Bingo scratch-off ticket.

“I will get the Bingo scratch-offs when I can’t get to the Bingo Hall,” said the retired Baltimore City Public Schools employee. She sent her son on Friday to pick up ten of the $2 Rainbow Blackout Bingo scratch-offs. She found a few small wins in her batch of tickets, but nothing could compare to the $30,000 she won after scratching a blackout on the game.

“I checked the ticket about four times before I believed it was a winner,” said the lucky player. She even called her son to confirm the win the next day. The grateful winner has already decided how to spend her prize.

“I’ll pay some bills with my win and help some of my family,” she said, smiling. “And, I still plan to play the Bingo games.”

Her son bought the winning ticket at the C&C Market located at 4752 Park Heights Avenue in Baltimore City. The Rainbow Blackout Bingo game has 11 remaining $30,000 winning tickets and 11 second-tier $10,000 tickets available in the stores.
