Bonus Match 5 Player Wins $200,045 in May 6 Drawing

Bought winning ticket at 7-Eleven in Silver Spring

Playing the same Bonus Match 5 numbers on four lines and another winning combination on three lines gave one lucky Maryland Lottery player a $200,045 win in the Friday, May 6 drawing.

The player manually picked the winning numbers of 6, 13, 15, 20 and 22; the Bonus Ball was 31. The winner found Lottery luck at the 7-Eleven located at 7980 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. This is the second-largest Bonus Match 5 win of 2016; a $600,000 win occurred Jan. 30 at the Soda Pop Shop in Dundalk.

Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place until he or she can claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, which is located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. The winner has 182 days to do so.

Also celebrating is the lucky retailer. The 7-Eleven will receive a bonus of $2,000.45 from the Lottery for selling the $200,045 ticket.

Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from 1 to 39. The Bonus Ball drawn from the remaining 34 numbers provides extra chances to win. Your ticket is a winner if you match five, four or three of the original five winning numbers selected in the drawing. If you match the Bonus Ball number, you only need to match four, three or two of your original numbers to win
