Capitol Heights Woman Claims First Top Prize on Big Money Maker Scratch-Off

Prince George’s County winner $100,000 richer

A Big Money Maker scratch-off that caught the eye of a Capitol Heights woman soon had her bound for Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore!

The lucky lady’s $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off was waiting at a Citgo in Lanham. The new $10 Big Money Maker game, which went on sale across the state on June 24, gave the 40-something player its first top prize.

After arriving in Baltimore to claim her big win, the winner and a relative enjoyed a brief stay in the Lottery Winner’s Circle. The happy scratch-off fan said possible plans for her prize include paying off bills and saving the windfall for the future.

The lucky Citgo also has reason to celebrate. The Prince George’s County business located at 7750 Annapolis Road in Lanham will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize winning scratch-off.

Big Money Maker still has seven $100,000 top prizes remaining, 36 $10,000 prizes and thousands of others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
