Charles County Man Wins $1.5 Million Multi-Match Jackpot

Subscription holder captures Maryland Lottery game’s top-tier prize

A White Plains resident went to sleep last night as Maryland’s newest millionaire. The Multi-Match subscription holder matched all six numbers from one of his tickets, according to the Maryland Lottery. He can choose between a $1.5 million annuity and a $1 million cash option.

This is the eighth Multi-Match jackpot ticket sold this year. The jackpot began its roll after a Sept. 2 drawing, when a Baltimore retiree claimed a $1 million prize. Although the winner chose his numbers on some of his subscription, the winning numbers came from a line of random picks. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

Multi-Match is a $2 game. The Lottery draws six numbers from one to 43 every Monday and Thursday night. Match between three and five numbers on any one line to win up to $1,000. Match between five and 18 numbers total on all three lines combined to win up to $2,000 more. To win the jackpot, match all six numbers on any one line. Watch the drawings at 11:22 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays on WBAL-TV, Channel 11. Results also are available online at mdlottery.com/winning-numbers.
