Churchville Keno Player Quietly Claims $25,012 Prize

Catches lucky win on May 4

A Harford County man netted a trophy-worthy $25,012 Keno win while casting a line for Maryland Lottery luck at Fisherman’s Catch Restaurant in Forest Hill.

The Churchville resident bought 20 draws on a nine-spot ticket and added the Super Bonus feature to win his whopper of a prize. His lucky numbers were 10, 20, 30, 40, 41, 50, 51, 61 and 71. The 51-year-old claimed his prize on Friday the 13th at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

He joins two other Keno players who scored big wins this month. A Fort Meade woman nicknamed the Keno Queen” found the largest Keno prize in Maryland history – $500,004 – at The Greene Turtle in Gambrills and a Baltimore man found a $10,016 prize playing random numbers at Captain’s Sports Bar & Grill in Middle River.

For selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 and up, the Harford County retailer located at 1 Maurice Drive will receive a $250.12 prize – equal to 1 percent of the prize value.
